FAQs

Will I receive an order confirmation via e-mail?
After placing an order on guideposts.org, you will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours that includes the following information:

  • Order number
  • Item(s) ordered
  • Description
  • Quantities
  • Price of each item
  • Shipping address(es)
  • Billing address
  • Payment information

Please print and/or save this confirmation and use it to check the status of your order.

If you do not receive an order confirmation within 24 hours:
  • Check your spam folder
  • Add the following email address to your address book to ensure timely communication CustomerService@guideposts.org

How do I check the status of my order?
If you have any questions about your order please contact us at gpsprod@cdsfulfillment.com or call us at 1-800-932-2145. Additionally, you may check the status of your order by logging into shopquideposts.org and accessing the ‘My Account’ dashboard. In the ‘My Order’ section, you will find your order information as well as additional helpful links.

What is the ‘Bill Me’ Payment Option?
Bill Me is a Guidepost.org service that lets you buy now and pay later. It’s a secure, instant, and reusable credit line. Complete the address information and click ‘Bill Me.’ Bill Me Later is subject to Guideposts credit approval and is only available for magazine orders. All other orders require a credit card.

What is Guideposts’ return and refund policy?
Your satisfaction is our goal! If you are unsatisfied with an item purchased from Guideposts.org you may


Unopened Item

– Write “Return to Sender” on outside package and give the item to your postal carrier.


Opened items

– Mail to: Guideposts P.O. Box 5815 Harlan, IA 51593-1315.

You must include the invoice or packing slip so that your account can be credited in a timely manner. It may take up to four (4) weeks to receive the item and process the return.


Note: Personalized items cannot be returned unless damaged or defective. Please check your order carefully; once placed, orders for personalized items cannot be canceled.

If you cancel a magazine subscription, you will receive a refund for the remainder of the subscription. If you have more questions, please contact us at 1.800.431.2344 Monday through Friday 8AM to 6PM EST and a representative will be happy to assist you.

How do I place an order by telephone?
To order by phone, please contact us toll-free at 1-800-932-2145, Monday through Friday 8 am and 6 pm EST. Please have item description and/item of the items you want to purchase, along with shipping and credit card information ready when you call.

You may send any item as a gift by entering the recipient's name and address in the ship to fields.

Absolutely. Guideposts is a Verisign Secure Site. We use the very latest in SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Encryption technology to safeguard your private information. Check for the "lock" symbol on your browser window during critical steps in the checkout process to ensure that your information is safe.

What happens if I sent my payment but receive another bill?
If you have already sent your payment and receive another bill, please ignore the second bill. Sometimes payments and a reminders cross in the mail. If you continue to receive bills, please call our customer service department, toll free, at 1-800-932-2145 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday, so we can make sure your payment was applied to your account correctly.

If you have already returned the item you purchased and receive another bill, please ignore the second bill. Sometimes the returned items and another reminder cross in the mail. How do I order gifts for multiple recipients?
To order products to be sent to multiple recipients, please place each order individually (using the bill to section for your address information and the ship to for the recipient's information) or call our customer service department at 1-800-932-2145, Monday through Friday 8 am and 6 pm EST.

How do I find all the titles of books in a series?
On the navagation pane at the top of the page, mouse over books, then under Adult Fiction you should see a list of series titles. Click any series title to view a complied list of available titles for a specific series. Having trouble finding what you want? Let us know, Monday through Friday 8 am to 6 pm EST at 1-800-932-2145.
