Return and Refund Policy
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
We want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase. If you’re not completely satisfied, please return the product within 30 days to the return address on the packing slip and owe nothing. We will refund (or credit your credit card) the value of the merchandise you return.
To return an unopened product, simply mark “Return to Sender” and give the book /product to your postal carrier. If the package has been opened simply repackage and send to: Guideposts PO Box 5815 Harlan, IA 51593-1315. Be sure to include your invoice or packing slip in the package so we may properly credit your account. It may take up to four weeks for us to receive the book/product and process the return.
For magazine subscriptions, you will receive a refund for the remainder of your magazine subscription if you choose to cancel for any reason. Please contact us at 1.800.431.2344 Monday through Friday 8AM to 6PM EST and a representative will be happy to assist you. If the post office alerts us that your magazine is undeliverable, we have no further obligation unless we receive a corrected address from you within one year.
Please note that we incur expenses in maintaining uncashed checks on our books. Checks remain valid for 90 days. We will redeem checks after the expiration date subject to a dormancy fee of 10% of the amount of the check for each 30-day period after the expiration date of 90 days in light of these expenses. The fee will be deducted from the balance due you so that if you seek payment from us of the check, we will pay you the amount of the check less any dormancy fees. Please note that the dormancy charge will be automatically imposed and once imposed the amount of the charge will not be restored to you. While the dormancy fee is designed to reimburse Guideposts for its costs of maintaining check balances on its books, it is the policy of Guideposts to treat such fees as a tax-deductible contribution by the payee of the check to Guideposts.
About Shipping Standard All orders for merchandise that is in stock at our warehouse are processed every Wednesday afternoon. Allow for four to five business weeks for shipping and delivery for domestic orders and five to six weeks for Canadian and Foreign shipping and delivery.
USPS Priority Shipping All orders for merchandise that is in stock at our warehouse are processed daily from Monday through Friday. Allow for five to seven business days for shipping and delivery time.
UPS First Day Shipping Expedited orders for merchandise that is in stock at our warehouse are processed daily from Monday through Friday, and will be shipped within 24 hours of submission.
