Once you visit the charming village of Acorn Hill, tucked away in rural Pennsylvania, you'll never want to leave. Townsfolk relax on their porch swings or gather to discuss the day's events at the Coffee Shop over homemade pie. It's the kind of town where friendship and faith flow together like a wide river on a fine spring day. However, the sleepy is in quite a surprise. After Daniel Howard, the adored minister of Grace Chapel, passes away, his three spirited daughters come home to remember their father and find out that each has inherited a share of his run-down Victorian house. Louise dreams of a small music conservatory , Alice thinks it would be erfect for a youth ministry, and Jane would like to open a restaurant. The squabbling begins…as does a brilliant solution to the sisters' dilemma. Grace Chapel Inn - a unique bed-and-breakfast - is born and a new life begins for them all.

I am very disappointed that they cannot send me any more hard cover or soft cover books from this series. I have quite a few (16)
but I can't get any more unless I want PDF and unfortunately I don't.

I began reading the series and got hooked right away.. I have just finished #24. I feel so peaceful when I read these books. Love the ongoing characters and stories. Acorn Hill and the Howard sisters are wonderful. I often read before I go to bed. If my day has been hectic, when I read from one of these books I feel calmed and can then go to sleep. I love how the authors have done such a beautiful job and if I didn't know it I would believe all the books had been written by the same author. I wish the series would never end.

I have read about half of the books in this series. I did not realize there were so many books, I am glad to see the list of titles in the series. I bought most of the books I have at the Christian Book Store, or at Amazon.com. I already have three sisters, and feel like I have three more. I would love to see additional books in the series. I loan them to my Aunt, and she loves them, also; but I would never give them away. I feel like they are a part of me. I hope I can order the ones I do not have.

Excellent bedtime reading- Review by Janice

One of my fellow volunteers donated the first 5 books for our annual fall Hospital Auxiliary book sale. I saw the set in our workroom and "borrowed " #1. What wonderful bedtime reading! When I went in the following week I "borrowed" #'s 2-5. I have completed them and am wanting more. ( I will place my order soon!)
I know they have helped me to have a more peaceful sleep. My bedtime prayers have come more easily to me.
P. S. The donor had numbered the books and I read them in that order. When I was starting reading "Going to the Chapel" that she had marked as #5, I was confused to read that the church was interviewing replacements for Daniel. I suspected she had mis- numbered them. I found your site on the internet and appreciate the listing.
The books will NOT be in our sale. I bought all 5 books and have given them to a dear friend and she is already enjoying them. (I renumbered them correctly before passing them on.)

Why Did They Stop Coming?!- Review by Teresa

Wonderful books and Acorn Hill, to me, would be the perfect place to live. Books with true Christian values and teachings, entertaining and I love the receipes at the end of each book. My only complaint is that they stopped sending them to me for some reason. Sure wish they would start again.

Why did they stop?!- Review by Teresa

I absolutely love these books and so looked forward to receiving them each month. For some reason they stopped and I haven't received one since February. These are books with true Christian teachings and books I can share with my nieces and other young people. Just wish I was still getting them.

Love these books- Review by Kay

This is probably my most favorite series I have ever read. I am an avid reader and have shared these books with many. I usually never want to read a book twice because so many I want to read but these I could read again. Wish you would bring a new book to us in this series. I would jump for joy.

Best Series Ever!- Review by Sue

I have read over 20 of the books in this series and hunger for more! I agree with Aunt Bumble Bee about the order of reading them. The first three are the most important to read in sequence, but after that any is great! These sisters have almost become real to me in a way:). I think Aunt Bumble Bee said it well in her review, and I just want to echo her feelings.

After sharing them with a circle of friends, a favorite sister of my own, and her friend, I donate the books to our church library where they can be enjoyed by so many more readers. I have to admit that it was hard for me to give them away, but we need to share the joy!

I began reading these aprox 6 years or so ago, maybe 8 years ago, and never was able to finish due to so many on going events in my life. Now I have found them and forgot what order they go in, but still enjoying so very much. I just love these books!

The best ever- Review by LENORA

The Sisters in this series are wonderful in every way. I love these books and I'm even sharing them with my own Sister.

Consistantly Outstanding- Review by Aunt Bumble Bee

I have read nearly every book in this series. You'd never know by the flow that they are written by several authors. Except when they first establish the B&B if you have the in random order it really won't matter much. What's great is the Christian testimony. Not preachy, but comments on what should or shouldn't be said or done. How can I please God, help others do the right thing. Scripture is intertwined, prayers said. And yet Acorn Hill is not perfect, people make mistakes, hurt each other, things happen just like life, but these authors and Guide post hopefully challenge you to think next time .... how would God want me to handle this. The proverbial What Would Jesus Do!
