Book Description In This Together

– Book 15

Elena Rodriguez is excited to oversee the hospital committee organizing several community fund-raisers for cancer research—which is why she is stunned to receive alarming information about her own health. The work she is doing takes on a new and profound meaning as she confronts decisions she never imagined she’d have to make.

As Elena copes with her news, James Bell and his wife Fern celebrate their own: Fern’s multiple sclerosis is in remission! After nine years of uncertainty, Fern can’t wait to start living life to the fullest again, if only James could let her. He can’t help worrying his wife is overexerting herself. Meanwhile, newlyweds Candace and Heath Carlson begin to learn about each other’s quirks. How can Candace accept it’s no longer  her  house, but  theirs ? Anabelle Scot and her husband Cam are proud of their hardworking son Evan as he plans an autumn maze and pumpkin patch at the family business. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season, until an unexpected disaster puts the business’ future in doubt.

At the hospital’s, Walk for a Cure, Elena sees her granddaughter Izzy enthusiastically supporting her  Buela . She is reminded that she’s not alone in her fight—that she, her family, friends, and community are in this together.
