Hope for Tomorrow – Book 3

After spending years away from church, Elena Rodriguez has whole heartedly embraced her renewed faith—much to the chagrin of her husband Cesar. To him, all Elena seems to talk about lately is prayer, and he’s concerned she spends too much time at church and not enough time with the family or with him. How will Elena reconcile Cesar’s concerns while staying true to her beliefs?

Meanwhile, Anabelle Scott is thrilled at the prospect of becoming a grandmother, but she can’t help offering unsolicited advice to her newly pregnant daughter Ainslee, causing tension between the two. Can they call a truce long enough to celebrate the joyous news? James Bell must decide to whether to take over Scouting duties for his son’s troop, which would mean leaving his ailing wife Fern alone, while Candice Crenshaw connects with the women in her grief counseling support group and makes an important breakthrough in the process.

At the hospital, everyone is forced to come to terms with heartbreak when complications occur during a birth. If faith can’t protect you from sadness, is such devotion worth the price?

About the Author

USA Today best –selling author Patti Berg began penning stories while in elementary school, when she wrote the script for a puppet show that she and her friends put on at a local hospital. Thirty years later, one of her dreams came true when the first of her many warm and lighthearted novels appeared in bookstores.

Scared of dogs until the age of fifty, Patti now goes out of her way to pet every dog she gets close to and would happily bring home all of the puppies in the pound if her less impulsive husband would only let her. He’s had less success keeping her from saying yes when her family, friends and others ask her to volunteer. A past president, secretary and newsletter editor of the Sacramento Valley Rose chapter of Romance Writers of America as well as past president, Web site and conference coordinator for RWA’s Published Authors Special Interest Chapter, Patti is currently volunteering with the Ada County Idaho Sherriff’s Department.

She lives in southwestern Idaho with her husband of thirty-three years and a huggable Bernese mountain dog names Barkley.
