Ten years later, she, her husband, and kids moved to Denver to take over management of the family security business. When her children left home, she began writing books. In 1992, Sunni and her husband moved to a ranch in the Great Northwest to raise cattle, timber and hay and to give her time to hone her craft and write stories of other women and their struggles and victories.
