With Grateful Hearts – Book 18

November brings Election Day and the promise of Thanksgiving to Marble Cove. Shelley is intrigued by the possibility of taking over the coffee shop but wonders how it would impact her hard-earned baking business—and her family. Can a message from an astonishing source give her the confidence she needs to make the right decision? Meanwhile, Margaret stumbles upon the bucket list she wrote when she was young. So many things yet to cross off! Is it too late to pursue her unfulfilled dreams? Diane struggles with the reality of losing her hair from cancer treatments, and her friends search for a way to show their support and solidarity. Beverly sets off on a thrilling new adventure, but she also begins to realize that there are many questions that she and Jeff must answer before they get married.

The friends discover that Dennis Calder wants to replace the town’s old train station with a shopping center. As they search for ways to preserve the structure, the information they uncover raises some captivation questions about its history. What happened to the last stationmaster, a flashy, high-living man who vanished in 1952? As always in Marble Cove, there is more to the story than meets the eye.
