AboutTales from Grace Chapel Inn

Once you visit the charming village of Acorn Hill, tucked away in rural Pennsylvania, you’ll never want to leave. Townsfolk relax on their porch swings or gather to discuss the day’s events at the Coffee Shop over homemade pie. It’s the kind of town where friendship and faith flow together like a wide river on a fine spring day.

And you’ll love spending time with the Howard sisters, who have begun a new life together in their childhood home, a gracious Victorian house now a bed and breakfast called Grace Chapel Inn. Here they rekindle old memories, rediscover the bonds of sisterhood, revel in the blessings of friendship—and meet many fascinating guests along the way.

Book Description

The Spirit of the Season – Book 21

The Howard sisters find out that Christmas doesn’t always mean peace on earth. When a misunderstanding between Florence Simpson and her husband Ronald has Florence jetting down to Florida, feisty Aunt Ethel has only one solution: go to Florida with Ronald and Alice in tow, and bring the wayward couple back together. With Alice gone, Jane and Louise must handle a fully booked inn for the holidays—and there’s only one week to go before Christmas! Hopefully everything will get done and Alice will be back in time to get into the spirit of the season.

About the Author

Dana Corbit started telling “people stories” at about the same time she started forming words. So it came as no surprise to those who knew her when the Indiana native chose a career in journalism. As a newspaper reporter and features editor, Dana had the opportunity to share wonderful true-life stories with readers. She left the workforce after the birth of her first child, but the stories came home with her, and she soon discovered the joy of writing fiction. The nationally award-winning journalist is now the author of seven inspirational novels and has been a HOLT Medallion Award finalist. Dana who makes her home in southeast Michigan, balances the make-believe realm of her characters with her equally exciting real-life world as a wife, carpool coordinator for three athletic daughters and food supplier for two disinterested felines. She recently completed her goal of running a marathon.
